Eli Stone picspam: Where people wear nice suits and talk a lot

Episode 113 ("Soul Free") - In which Eli undergoes surgery to rid himself of the aneursym, Patti is the Mayor of Sasstown, and Toby Ziegler wants to live and die on his terms. Nate disagrees with Eli's decision to have a DNR order and doesn't want to be his health care proxy. During the operation Eli suffers from a couple of hemorrhages and then cardiac arrest which cuts off blood flow to his brain. Nate feels he needs to honor Eli's request to not be kept alive if things go badly, but Chen's dream that he is not quite dead yet grants him a reprieve.

Through a mixture of real events and Eli's own limbo visions, we learn that Jordan has plans to make him a partner heading up a pro bono division, and that Eli, for all his talk that he doesn't care if he lives or dies as long as he's not stuck between the two, is actually quite keen on living. So he opens his eyes and we get a second season. And there was much rejoicing in the land...

Episode 112 ("Waiting for That Day") - In which Eli's earthquake vision is back and he wants to be superheroes with Maggie as they sue San Francisco to close the Golden Gate Bridge. In other news, Eli enlists Matt's help to draw up his living will in preparation for his brain surgery. Marci uses Maggie to discredit Eli in court, then goes after Jordan's position as managing partner. When the partnership votes to oust Jordan the walls literally come crashing down. With Eli's earthquake prediction coming true Jordan demands a revote. Maggie, true to her word that she always believed Eli, brings fiancé Scott to the park where they witness the catastrophic damange to the bridge, now closed thanks to Eli.

Episode 111 ("Patience") - In which Eli takes up a new case after catching a glimpse of the future where David Mosley is living bravely. Eli sees himself in the future too, which is good news on the aneurysm front, but then he sees more than he bargained for when Maggie is also there, and so is their baby. At least, that's one interpretation of the vision, and the one I'm shamelessly sticking with.

In other news the K in WPK turns up at the firm and casts doubts over Jordan's ability to run things. Matt and Taylor take on a gay chimpanzee case, with Matt hoping it will bring them closer together. The chimps are adorable and so is Matt, resulting in Taylor throwing him a lifeline.
